Want to add 5.2 or 5.9 liter Magnum V-8 power to your TJ? We have all parts available for the do-it-yourself guy, and have a custom wiring harness if you don't want to try and build one yourself. We also have a large selection of performance parts that make the swap easier and boosts horsepower, torque and MPG.

The swap is relatively easy. If you can put a clutch in your TJ, and trust your welding skills, you should be able to make the swap in 3 or 4 weekends.

Advance Adapters TJ V8 Motor Mount Kit
This kit from Advance Adapters allows the installation of a 5.2 or 5.9 liter Dodge V8 into your TJ.

NOTE:
This kit requires removing the old motor mounts and welding this kit in its place.Requires modification to run our electric fan.

AT/PS Coolers
These are the coolers we use for the Automatic trans and Power steering. We add brackets to the factory "U" brace in the core support. The right is for the transmission and the left is for the power steering. This requires our AT cooler soft line kit or the included hoses. NOTE:PHOTO SHOWS TWO COOLERS AND PRICE IS FOR EACH!!!

V8 TJ Headers
These chrome block hugger headers have 3/8 inch flanges and exit center of the block at oil pan gasket height.

They allow you to move the engine 1.5 inches towards the firewall and are required if you want to use an electric fan or not modify your existing drive shafts. Does not include Y-Pipe. MADE IN USA!!!!

Radiator for 5.2 or 5.9 liter V8 into a TJ
Backwoods Offroad custom built all brass radiator.

The radiator has a lifetime warranty, and is a modified HD Wrangler radiator. Because it started out as a standard Jeep radiator it's a direct replacement, bolt in that uses stock Dakota V-8 hoses and 4.0 liter fan shroud. It also works with our electric fan. Fits both TJ's and YJ's 87-06

Wiring harness for 5.2 5.9 TJ swap
This is a custom built wiring harness for a 5.2 or 5.9 liter Dodge Magnum V8 going into a Jeep TJ.

We modify your TJ engine harness and the Dodge/Grand Cherokee V8 underhood harness into a custom plug and play unit. No soldering, no crimping or electrical skills required.

NOTE: We need your TJ engine harness and the underhood harness from the donor motor.Manual trans to Auto trans will need to send your tj's PDC harness for relay install as well.
Typical turnaround time is 14 - 21 days. Call first to make sure.

Flex-A-Lite Black Magic Xtreme 180
This is the only electric fan we use in the swap. It is quiet, comes with a full shroud and thermostat control box. It moves 3300 CFM!!! It is the only fan we have found that is slim enough to fit yet moves enough air to keep the V8 cool. Minor modifications to included brackets nessecary to mount. MADE IN USA!!!
